RUBCO
Rubber exports |
We handled
15,000 MT of Natural Exports for Kerala State Rubber Co-operative
(RUBCO) to various destinations. Our scope of work included the
transportation from their various godowns, warehousing and inventory
mangement, customs clearance, stuffing, scheduling, pre-alerts
and shipment documentation. The inventory levels were optimised
to avoid both higher storage costs and also higher inventory.
We were monitoring the important parameters of inventory, shipment
schedules, container positioning, vessel availability and transport
requirements.

COCHIN
REFINERIES LTD. |
Starting with
the inception of Cochin Refineries Ltd. (CRL) in 1965-66 to 1997,
we have been involved with them for their initial project implementation
to subsequent expansions. Working with Pacific Procon, USA who
were the EPC contractors for Philips Petroleum, USA everything
from the smallest spare part to the reactors (weighing 200 M/Tons
and over 18 mtrs in length) and vacuum columns was customs cleared,
transported, unloaded and erected at site. The transportation
was multi-modal; i.e. by barge upto the nearest jetty - Maradu-
and from then on by road. For subsequent expansions also we were
involved especially for the ODC consignments. For their Crude
Tankage expansion project, we handled the entire scope from Cochin
Port to site FFof over 4000 M/Tons of steel pipes. The exercise
involved the movement of 330 trailer loads. This called for innovative
planning and logistics to provide the requisite number of vehicles
and their rapid turnaround.

MOBIL-PEEVES
PETROLEUM LTD. |
For their LPG Bottling project at Beypore, Calicut, we
handled the complete project imports including Customs clearance,
transportation and unloading at site in 1995. Apart from other items,
the main imports consisted of over 1200 M/tons of steel plates of
over 11 mtrs long. Over 65 trailers were deployed for the transportation
and the route comprised of ghat sections, where provisions were
made for extra prime movers for the steep sections.

RUBFILA
INTERNATIONAL LTD.

The entire
project import consisting of machinery, plant equipment, testing
and research equipment was handled by us. This job involved clearances
and transportation from various ports and airports like Cochin
Port, Cochin Airport, Trivandrum Airport, Madras seaport and Bombay
airport.

ZELCRON
INDUSTRIES LTD. |
The main imports
for the client were 3 ODC kilns from USA. The kilns were over
60 ft in length, 60 M/Tons and had a dia of 12.5 ft. The three
kilns were customs cleared, transported and delivered at site.
We used skilled labour to unload the kilns manually at site.

BHAGHEERATHA
ENGINEERING LTD. |
Cable wire ropes for a dam site at Doyang, Nagaland were
customs cleared, transported from Madras port. The exercise called
for careful planning as the route was treacherous and extremely
dangerous.

BSES
KERALA POWER LTD. |
A 165 MW Power
project with GE Power Systems as the equipment suppliers and BSES
as the EPC contractors. A total of 3 nos. 40 MW Gas/Naphtha fired
Turbines with all its ancillary and accessory systems was customs
cleared, transported, unloaded and erected at site. The transportation
involved 35 nos. ODC packages among which were 86 MT, 16 ft high,
55 ft long and 15 ft wide packages. The packages were transported
from Cochin Port to site in just 2 consignments.
